"Through 22 years of growth, God has called me to wholeheartedly pursue a fasted lifestyle of surrendered lovesickness. God has an intense fire burning and growing in me, an unstoppable zeal, and unending love for Jesus. I am a sojourner on earth, an eternal citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, a forerunner, and a watchman preparing the way for the glorious and imminent return of Jesus,
by sharing the Gospel as a world missionary."

Half of India & 9 US States in 1 Month!

After teaching in Asia for several months and then traveling half-way across India in one week, I somehow had energy to continue traveling across the US! My first stop was at YWAM Madison to partner with their Bible School for the Nations. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay and quickly made good friends. Several of them are joining us at YWAM Idaho to help pioneer the BSN beginning in April. After a pleasant Christmas in Minnesota with part of my YWAM family, I journeyed down to the OneThing Conference in Kansas City. Worshipping Jesus into the New Year with 25,000 other young adults who passionately love Jesus...Priceless. I then spent the first week of 2012 resting at the feet of Jesus in the 24/7 prayer room at IHOP (International House of Prayer). I guarantee there is no better way to begin each new year in complete surrendur to the perfect leadership of King Jesus!

God has faithfully provided an abundance of His grace in leading 6 YWAM ministries back-to-back since 2009! I'm currently enjoying a 7th season of sabbath living off-grid in a Mongolian yurt! I'm pioneering a ministry called IYOP (Idaho Yurts of Prayer) and have begun the process by raising funds and importing some Mongolian Yurts to the US. My brother Caleb and I also purchased our own yurts for personal homes. I partnered with some missionaries in Mongolia who helped get four of these Gers (traditional Mongolian yurts) into a shipping container on the coast of Beijing. After four months storming across the ocean, they made it through the Panama Canal, across the Gulf of Mexico, and onto US soil.

My Pops and bro then conquered what it takes to get this set up before the snowstorms rolled in :-)  Caleb and I are staying cozy warm through the blizzard conditions at the base of Mt. Bachelor in Oregon... 10 feet of snow in one week! We have 3G and a solar panel but haven't been able to get enough sun brilliance for my photo-voltaic cells to power up my computer. Snowboarding or Solar Internet Surfing... oh the contemporary quandaries we face nowadays :-)  Life is good under the rulership of a Loving King and Father! Thank you for all your prayers and support through all my magnanamous ministry escapades....

Bhutan & Darjeeling & Beyond

Let me share with you a quick story of receiving a Christmas gift from God...

I seize the opportunity to ride north on a motorbike with the cool air blowing through my flowing air. I know the mountains in the background are Bhutan; I also know it is nearly impossible for foreigners to enter Bhutan. I let up a simple prayer to my Father if He could travel ahead and make a way. I finally come to the border crossing, rev my motorbike engine, and wisely choose not to blaze through the gate past the guards. Instead, I build a simple friendship with the Bhutanese border patrol and after many persistent minutes of asking, he says I can enter his country! We walk right past the border guards as if they are blind! I say a quick prayer from Bhutanese soil and quickly reenter West Bengal before I get into any trouble. God Loves nations. God loves to answer our simple prayers of faith. God loves to hear prayers coming from every nation!

Darjeeling
"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." I testify to this truth. God fulfilled my lifelong dream to meander the streets of Darjeeling and gaze upon Kangchenjunga, the third highest mountain on the planet! In worldly standards, I have nothing and am nothing; in Kingdom standards, I am a child of the most-high God receiving the delight of my Heavenly Father! When we put Him first above all else, we inherit eternal life. John 17:3 says, "This is eternal life... to know God." God can be known here, and wants to be known now. Therefore, our eternity starts today! Walking in the light of eternity, I soak in the sun rising beyond the Himalayas as a smile from Heaven (Psalm 67:1-2). God loves to give us children the desires of our hearts when we seek His Kingdom first in everything we do...even border crossing and mountain gazing!

84+ hours of traveling this week alone, not including the many hours of rickshaws, walking, and waiting. How many hours did you spend traveling this last week? My Father has called me to be a world-traveling Presence-Carrier in some of the darkest places on the planet. I'm awestruck how many people God has impacted in just one week of crazy traveling in Asia, many encouraged and even some saved! I can't even begin to imagine the eternal fruit of all the prayers God has and will continue to answer in the coming years in all those places! I am honored to have such friends and prayer warriors who faithfully partner with this burden I carry for Revival in every place my feet touch.

Commissioning Apostles

Peace be with you from the Adevarsi People Group in West Bengal.

Graduation day I share a few words, "If you don't want to serve your followers, then you don't really love them. If you don't love them, then you are not qualified to lead them!" Silence fills the room. "Love is the only lasting motivation for the Biblical model of servant leadership."
James, Nelson, and I begin washing the feet of our BELT participants with cultural mustard seed oil, water, and towels. Hearts are softened. Holy Spirit is a superfluous mystery. Definition of superfluous is "being more than enough; excessive, extravagant." We feel no pain, no worry, no stress, no sadness, no regret, no guilt, no shame, no fear, and no darkness when we are in His presence. Tears of healing and joy flow down faces. A peaceful tongue flows from my mouth. This sweet encounter with God does more than a lifetime of training could ever do. Lives are transformed.

These leaders may have never experienced the love of God expressed through leaders serving them in such a powerful way. They stand to their feet with a new motivation for leadership: Love. We then release them with authority to multiply everything they've learned these past few weeks, not as puppets, nor as students, nor as disciples, but as apostles! They are sent ones with a mission to bring the kingdom culture of LOVE to West Bengal!

Now you know why I have Joy inexpressible! My leadership and influence has just drastically multiplied, and this, this brings joy to the heart of my heavenly Father! One Sadri sister, Sanju, confessed the continual darkness that lurked within her, before this gathering around the Word of God. Revelation from the teachings led her half way and a divine encounter with our Loving God led her all the way into the light. With teary eyes and a stammered voice, Premika shared about her new friendship with God as a faithful living person. One of the older leaders proclaimed, "I've been to a 3 year Bible College, but my life did not change. I've come to this 3 week BELT workshop, and my life is forever changed because you came here."
I gaze into the eyes of my Sadri brothers and sisters, my family, and see memories of God encounters. Before I know it, I'm clasped hand in hand with my Sadri family dancing to Sadri songs of celebration. I'm lost in the lyrics but find myself communicating perfectly through smile. Rejoice with us as we claim Asia for Jesus!

A Cry for Revival

BELT Update
God has exponentially blessed our time and relationships here in West Bengal, India. I write this simple update loaded with pictures to encourage you with the work God is doing here in Asia. We finished the first week of our BELT (Biblical Education & Leadership Training) outreach with inspiring stories. Many Sadri young adults have gathered together to learn how to worship the One True God in both Spirit and Truth.
I've really grown to love the teachings Pursuit of Truth and Intercession! Everyone really got excited about passionately pursuing an intimate relationship with Jesus! Our BELT participants keep testifying how they love all of our illustrations, posters, stories, and dramas. There is an Asian proverb that says "I hear, and I forget. I see, and I remember. I do, and I understand." We are believing if the students have not learned, then we have not taught. We are learning to teach profound truths with simplicity. The purpose of the truth is to be applied and it will most assuredly set people free! Hallelujah!
Their Story
We are also laying a foundation with the overview of the Bible. This stems from our belief that the Word of God is the seed of Liberty for all nations. Over the summer, we compiled our artistic abilities and painted the story of the Bible on a long timeline. We even have a lively set of hand actions to walk these indigenous people through the Bible. They Love it. We asked why. One of the locals responded.

"We do not have the Bible in our language, nor do we have any solid Biblical Training for our people group of six million. You have now brought the Bible School to our doorsteps! This is so powerful and we are so grateful." Gyuan. Then we understood: they do not have the Word of God in their own mother tongue! God is graciously bringing the Gospel to this people group through our simple sacrifice of coming here on one way tickets and sharing the revelation we have.

"We have never heard teaching like this before. We always forget many words, but we will never forget these pictures. We want to draw all of these pictures and teach them to our church and family. " Susma & Premmika & Sipkumer

Prayer Requests
I could ask you to pray that our teachings would go well, but my heart cry is for so much more! I want to see Revival break out because I know God wants to release His Spirit! We're teaching about Sin & Salvation this next week so please ask God to anoint our hearts with humility. We desire a revelation of God's kindness to lead us into radical repentance. Furthermore, we desire this revival of our hearts to bring transformation in all spheres of Indian society throughout this region. India will worship Jesus as their one true King. GLORY!

The Missionary Life

BSN in Nepal
The favor and providence of God is brightly shining here in Asia! The Bible School for the Nations (BSN) in Nepal is keeping me busy as I teach the book of Exodus and many other topics regarding God’s power and goodness. When I’m not teaching, I’m overseeing our bodacious bamboo greenhouse and beautifying our vibrant orange classroom. What fun projects they’ve been! Before I know it however, I fully extend my Nepali visa for 2011 and can no longer stay in the country. On my last night, I enjoy a delectable Love Feast prepared by my loving BSN family.

BDTS in Delhi
I then take on the challenge to find the Backpackers DTS in the midst of the overpopulated city of Delhi. Mission impossible! I embark at 5am on a motorbike in a Himalayan village of Nepal. Sixteen hours later enduring taxis, buses, planes, subways, and rickshaws, I walk right into their room to everyone’s surprise!!! We enthusiastically celebrate their ruined-for-the-ordinary lives as they debrief their six-month BDTS and launch into their world-changing destinies! My short time with the BDTS is both highly enjoyable and prophetically fruitful. I’m blessed beyond my wildest imaginations to see the Backpackers DTS ministry continuing to transform lives for the Kingdom. Before I know it, I’m saying more goodbye’s and sending my beloved friends back to the states.

Personal Travels
Right smack dab in the middle of all my extravagant travels, I discover my first cavity I’ve ever had! Somehow, my first cavity mysteriously escalated to the need for a root canal...and I’m in India! Needless to say, God directs my steps and I’m undergoing the painful process and popping pills.  From Delhi I travel north... to West Bengal where I encounter more people pointing opposite directions, rickshaws with bent wheels, maps with undecipherable scribbles, and hours of noisy bus travel. Instead of enduring the unbearably hot and crowded bus, I decide to take my chances, climb to the top, and cling for dear life. Oh the stories to be told from such misery!
BELT in West Bengal
On 11/11/11, God unleashes heaven as I reunite with my good friends James and Nelson in the tribal village of Hamiltonganj. National Geographic and Missions Magazine combined is truly surreal. We’ll be facilitating a Biblical Education & Leadership Training (BELT) Seminar for the next three weeks here. For the next few days, I’ll be teaching the Pursuit of Truth. I’m totally blown away God is using us to teach indigenous tribal leaders on the border of Bhutan about the faithfulness of Jesus Christ! Unfortunately, sickness is becoming far too familiar here in Asia. I’m pretty wiped out but overall enthused for the coming revivals!

I pray this letter stimulates your passions within to discover the adventures of God’s heart! Visit my Facebook profile to watch a linked video and prepare to be “Called by God!”
Prayer Requests
I’m ready to be healthy again :-)
Anointing upon our teachings
Transformation in these leaders
Good rest amongst a busy God-filled schedule

Visionary Spirit

Peace be with you,The Bible School for the Nations here in Nepal is simply surreal! Vibrant flowers, majestic mountains, and gorgeous smiles are just the beginning of an epic season diving into the depths of God's wisdom found within His Word! Plenty of stories have already risen from the past few days :-)

As funny as it sounds, I'm actually homesick for Mongolia! I'm in the very midst of the magnanimous Himalayas of Nepal, yet I long to be in the countryside of Mongolia! Tis surely vision God has placed deep within my heart for His Mongolian children :-). Henceforth, here's an awesome little story about the providence of God: Over the course of this summer while I was gone, the Nepali's planted tons of flowers and painted all the rooms here at the Frontier Missions Center. All the flowers and walls are super vibrant Mongolian orange! Not even a variation of pink or red, but an exact match with Mongolia's traditional color! I returned to Nepal, but I feel like I'm in a little piece of Mongolia too... God is so wild!

BSN is in full swing with our rooster crowing at 6am every day. After a quick cup of Nepali chai, I prepare my mind for the day with some quiet time soaking in His Word. The strength of the Lord then enables me to down the 7am rice and curry breakfast every day. Corporate Nepali worship, intercession, devotionals follow with another tea break before mind-boggling Bible teachings. After a rice & curry lunch, we launch into work duties. I've been released to oversee the addition of a dishwashing station, the laying down of rock stairs, the planting of potatoes, the concept of a compost pile, and the design & construction of a 60ft bamboo greenhouse!!! I'm joyfully thriving as God is unleashing the visionary spirit He's placed within me :-)

Our Bible School Family then shares a delectable dinner of some more rice and curry before concluding the day with a couple hours of Bible study & teaching prep. Restful sleep is a much-needed delight :-) My bunk is a place where my mind sleeps but my spirit is still fully alive receiving from God what I need for the next day...what a glorious undeserving privilege :-) There are so many teaching opportunities here and open doors for discipleship! I have a full schedule of sharing devotionals, facilitating intercession, preparing a three-week Bible Seminar in India, and teaching whole books of the Bible!

My primary prayer requests are for wisdom, discernment, and time-management. Above all else, I depend upon the grace of God to passionately and wholeheartedly Love Him through the challenging tasks of daily living in a foreign culture. I truly desire the realm of the Spirit to be reflected in the natural environment God has called me to in this season. I'm called to teach, and when necessary, use words... The Kingdom of God is first internal, then external. It begins with my heart loving Jesus and overflows by diligently pursuing excellence in all I do for my King... He is worthy of our obedience to be more like Him in all areas of life! Will you choose the divine mandate by joining the intercession of Jesus to bring heaven to earth?

Captivated by Liberty!

I've been overflowing with tears from dwelling in the presence of God through every hour of travel! The voice of God has been nearly audible and His Presence nearly tangible! He's been imparting a theme I feel is dangerously relevant to the calling He has upon my life. The emotional theme entails what it looks like for one to lay down his life for another... the greatest form of love. We all say we'd take a bullet for another, but why do we hesitate to lay our opinions aside in the mundane decisions of life? We hope for the best to emerge when the discombobulation of life's circumstances storm around us, but what is our response when a few drops fall and a gust blows by? Why seek the highest benefit of others? Am ''I not worthy of preference? Why others?

These questions bounce around in my head and heart as I doze into the limbo of jet-lag through various forms of travel. Why others? Millions of Asian faces flash before my eyes. God reveals his heart for them. Compassion imparts. I sob. "Why others?" My mind reasons an answer from these Words of God: "Because 'others' are infinitely valuable eternal beings created in the very image God! of the God we say we Love. Love prefers others...always...even when it's all coming down. Love is selfless. And the most challenging yet: Love is a daily Choice! Yet the most encouraging thought reveals that God IS Love. We Love because He first Loved us. Destiny is birthed from Identity." Everything simply adds to that which God spoke to me last year amidst the painstakingly long travels: "Your Identity & Destiny is to Experience the Perfection & Righteousness of Jesus Christ, so that you may Receive, Return, and Share the Fullness of God's Love for Eternity!"

Life truly is a discombobulation of circumstances: nearly every soul on this earth will agree with that statement. Unfortunately, the majority of us simply react to the discombobulation and find ourselves screaming stress or sorrow. True Liberty is choosing to respond in love amidst those circumstances! Liberty is simply choosing to do what's right according to your nature. Liberty is following your heart, the very law that God has written upon your heart. The Sprit of that law written upon your heart is Love. When you're asked to go above and beyond, perform the extraordinary, and lay down your life to save another, what will your response be? Will you exert all of your engery preserving your own life or will you face the circumstance to preserve the life and liberty of others? God has captivated my heart to unleash Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness for the lost millions of Asia! Partner with me in prayer! Partner with the Kingdom of God by your support to a hurting world in bondage to poverty. God is King over this Continent!
