The all-knowing Director of my life has thoroughly blessed me with the opportunity to see much of China with my own eyes. Enduring 30+ hour straight train rides, countless hours of buses, motorcycle hitching, millions of stone-carved steps, mountain passes, river crossings, and a camel, I’ve personally come to the conclusion that China is HUGE! More than the awe-inspiring country itself however, I experienced a deeply intimate high with my friend and fellow traveler Jesus! Our conversations were endless, His peace was overflowing, and my gratitude was unceasing. My time traveling throughout China was a personal debrief of our time in Mongolia and an overflow of joy seeing what our Lord had done through us.
Upon my arrival back to the Western world, I found myself in McCall, Idaho merely four days before embarking on yet another escapade with my family! My brother Caleb came in from the Oregon coast, my parents rolled in from Alaska, and I flew in from South Korea. We road-tripped to Bethel Church in Redding, California to see the Body of Christ agreeing with God’s vision to pour out His Spirit on all flesh. We continued our journey down highway 1 and enjoyed family fellowship lunching with sea elephants and watching California sunsets. From there, my parents and I had the glorious blessing of joining over 20,000 people from around the world at the OneThing Conference with the International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City. God most definitely poured out His Spirit and revealed His unconditional Father’s love to thousands. His perfect love cast out all fear, His manifest presence brought joy, and His power broke bondages, delivered the oppressed, and healed the sick. Wheelchairs were no longer needed, cancer disappeared, eyesight restored, and addictions were broken. Participation in such a life as this is such an honor as I am dumbfounded why God would partner with us to express His love. The prayer of Jesus in John 14-17 is now reality, and the promise of Luke 24:39 has been fulfilled. God is currently sending a wave of His Spirit’s power to anyone willing to receive. It’s not about any specific organization, but the united and perfected Body of Christ preparing herself as the purified Bride awaiting the return of the Bridegroom.
After a lovely visit with my grandparents in Florida, I then made the long drive back to Idaho where I am currently sitting. It was yet another time of profound intimacy as I communed with God in my modern day Tabernacle of David Subaru. His presence in the passenger seat during 12 hour driving days was priceless. Our conversations during this transitional season has led to the following:
Complete PEACE and JOY accompany the revelation and faith of knowing God, knowing His unconditional love for me, and knowing my identity in His Son Jesus Christ so I can share His LOVE with the world! Without the birth, life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Christ, I am nothing. God created me for the very purpose to experience the perfection and righteousness of His son Jesus, so that I may receive and share the fullness of God's love for eternity as the very power to truly LOVE Him in return. I am ALIVE and FREE because of HIM!
