Greetings from Beijing, China!
After a 12 hour flight over Alaska, the ocean, and Japan, we safely arrived in South Korea and spent 15 hours in Seoul. We had an incredibly enjoyable time tasting new unknown seafoods and walking the downtown alleyways. We then took another flight to Beijing and have been staying in a hostel and daily praying around Tienanmen Square. Thank you for all your prayers. God is indeed listening and answering. Traveling has not only been safe but quite enjoyable...lots of foreign foods and opportunities to pray as we watch a world of billions every day!
We are living out many days of intercession for this time and even at the beginning of this DTS heard God tell us to stay in Beijing three full days. He also told us it would be three days of Sabbath...with the meaning of truly resting in Christ and recognizing our heavenly position IN Him. During our flight from South Korea to Beijing, the Lord pressed upon my heart to read Ephesians as a team, and it has been absolutely crucial in binding us together with Christ. Please continue to pray for unity and direction as we embark on the long journey from Beijing to UlaanBataar today...over 30 more hours of traveling...
In addition to prayer for unity and direction, please also pray for somewhat comfortable seats on the LONG bus ride, but more importantly for divine appointments along the way. There is a train going directly from Beijing to Ulaanbataar, but we really heard the Lord to take the harder and longer route via bus, jeep, taxi, hitch hike, and whatever else to get across the Gobi desert...so we are traveling in obedience and trusting He has a glorious plan it it all.
Well, we must be off now...the journey continues.
From four guys who love Jesus in Asia,
Steve, Andy, Lucas, and Zach...may God be with you
