"Through 22 years of growth, God has called me to wholeheartedly pursue a fasted lifestyle of surrendered lovesickness. God has an intense fire burning and growing in me, an unstoppable zeal, and unending love for Jesus. I am a sojourner on earth, an eternal citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, a forerunner, and a watchman preparing the way for the glorious and imminent return of Jesus,
by sharing the Gospel as a world missionary."

Two Stories of God’s Sovereignty

To all who love Jesus and are supporting the work He is doing through us in Mongolia,

Of all the multiple things God is doing here, I just wanted to update you on two awesome stories of God's amazing sovereignty and also tell you two prayer requests. So long story short since I have limited time before we leave...when we applied for our Chinese visas, we applied for 6 month double entry visas because they were cheaper and a whole lot easier to get accepted. Mistakingly and miraculously, our passports came back stamped with 1 year multiple entry visas to China!!!

We had no idea why we would need such visas because we were just passing through Beijing on the way to Mongolia and back... Now we know why God provided them. Americans don't need visas to enter Mongolia but we just found out that we need to register for an extension within the first few days if we stay over 30 days or get fined several hundred dollars each! Anyhow, we are now waiting for our train to the border, so we can cross into China with our miraculous and unexpected "multiple" entry Chinese visas God provided, eat some Chinese food, and cross back into Mongolia so we can register and stay longer to complete the work God has for us. God in His sovereignty knew this would happen and already graciously provided. We also believe God has more divine appointments for us amidst the time-consuming traveling.

The second story involves a complete answer to prayer for a vehicle, driver, and translator for a few weeks in the Mongolian countryside! One of our contacts here knew somebody who knew somebody who has a friend who might know somebody who could translate for us but he may be out of the country. Another long story short, we got his number, called him, and asked to meet him the following day. As we approached, his eyes met mine and we both said "We've met before!"

It turns out we met in Colorado at a YWAM Go Conference last year!!! We just bumped into each other and asked the common questions. After finding out he was from Mongolia over lunch together, I shared my heart for someday wanting to go to Mongolia, and he shared his heart for missions in another country. As we parted ways, we both said "Maybe one day we'll meet again in Mongolia!" Well God in his humor, heard that and made it happen! Bayra was actually going to be in another country permanently by now, but his wife just found she was pregnant so their plans have changed a bit.

Bayra was just praying and asking God for a job and an opportunity to do ministry...and then we called :-) So all that to say...we have a translator who loves Jesus and just finished a YWAM school of strategic evangelism for the unreached! And here we are leaving for the Mongolian countryside on Friday. God is so good. He had this planned even from last fall in Colorado!

So prayer requests:
1. Safety, problem-free border crossing, and
divine appointments while traveling to China and back
2. Health, unity, and humility for our team as we prepare for the countryside

Until all have heard...
