Thank you for all your prayers. We made it safely and smoothly across the border into China and got the stamp that we needed. Once again, God placed a Mongolian man who spoke perfect English right next to us on the train. He was searching for truth and hungry for purpose. During the long train ride, we were able to share the Gospel with him and allow God to speak through us into his life. More seeds were definitely planted so once again we ask for your prayers of intercession to ask God for a harvest of salvation.
Now I'm writing so you have the opportunity to join the work God is doing here by telling some prayer requests. I don't have much time, so I'll keep it brief. We are headed into the Mongolian countryside in just a few minutes!!! We awoke to several inches of beautiul snow! We will be gone for 3 weeks...2 weeks traveling from ger to ger, and one week in the very northern section of Mongolia living in a ger serving the people there. So our prayer requests are:
1. That God would keep us warm :-)
2. Our health as we travel across the countryside. I have a form of strep throat right now and am in a bit of pain. Pray for quick healing so it doesn't worsen in the cold weather and sleeping outside.
3. Unity among us four, our amazing God-appointed translator, and our driver
4. Direction as to where God wants us to go. Prayer will be our compass as we off-road across God's country :-)
5. More importantly than anything, pray that God's miraculous power would be a big arrow that points to God's love for the Mongolian families we will be meeting in their ger homes
Open ears and hungry hearts for the truth of the Gospel to be received by these Mongolian nomads
