"Through 22 years of growth, God has called me to wholeheartedly pursue a fasted lifestyle of surrendered lovesickness. God has an intense fire burning and growing in me, an unstoppable zeal, and unending love for Jesus. I am a sojourner on earth, an eternal citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, a forerunner, and a watchman preparing the way for the glorious and imminent return of Jesus,
by sharing the Gospel as a world missionary."

From a Blessed Life in Mongolia

Greetings from the most remote capital in the world and land of the blue sky:
UlaanBaatar, Mongolia!

After a crazy long flight, a 15 hour layover in South Korea, some interesting sea food in downtown Seoul, a bowl of snail soup, and another flight, I found myself praising God as I walked across Tienemen Square in Beijing, China! Several years of dreaming, envisioning, and praying for a trip to Asia had come to a reality as I am now on the outreach phase of
the Backpacker’s DTS with YWAM Idaho!

Steve, Andy, Lucas, and I spent three days in a hostel in Beijing, eating awesome Chinese food and reading through Ephesians as we found our true identity in Christ. Many prayers were answered just in those three days as we stepped into true rest, peace, and unity as four brothers embarking on the fulfillment of the Great Commission into the unknown and anticipated
adventure to Mongolia! There is a direct train from Beijing to Ulaanbataar, but we really heard the Lord to take the harder and longer route via taxi, bus, jeep, and train across the Gobi desert...so we traveled in obedience and harvested answered prayers for divine appointments along the way.

After a 12 hour bus ride to Erlian, we piled 11 people into a Russian Jeep and drove across the Chinese and Mongolian border to enjoy another 12 hours of waiting in Zamyn-Ud. We played a few games of pool outside with the local Mongolians and prayer walked around the town before we had the joy of 16 hours on the Trans Siberian Railway. God provided English speaking divine appointments all along the way and most assuredly planted seeds in them through us. Now we continue to lift them up to God asking Him to grow those seeds into a harvest of salvation
through prayers of intercession.

So after the 16 hours in a train compartment with no open windows and five smelly traveling feet and a midnight Gobi dust storm that filled the train with dust, we were greeted with an hour’s wait in UlaanBaatar…with cold wind and snow flurries! Yet God’s faithfulness has continued in opening multiple doors for ministry here. We have been teaching English in the university and high school, playing with Mongolian orphans, speaking into other missionary kids here, meeting with Mongolian believers in a basement, helping drunks, and feeding street kids… all with the Love of Christ.

Thank you from the very depths of my heart for all of your support and prayers. God is most definitely listening and answering on a daily basis. We are seeing God move in powerful ways as we wholeheartedly surrender to His will for Mongolia. Please continue to pray for protection, unity, divine appointments, and the miraculous as we give up our rights and allow the life of Christ to live through us.

From a friend of the Bridegroom who feels at home in Mongolia,
