That's no little statement either. Let me just give you a glimpse of what it's taken to get here. From our remote YWAM base near Warm Lake, Idaho, we drove to Cascade to tie up loose ends. From there we drove to Boise for a REI Garage Sale to pick up winter clothes for Nepali church planters. We then had a 4am departure from the airport the following morning only to discover the airline wanted to charge us an additional $600 to get us to San Francisco. This was after Jame's bag had already gone through so he hopped on the plane. After hours upon hours of customer service complaints, cancellation fees, reinstatement fees, consolidating and repacking bags, etc, Nelson and I finally boarded another flight.
We had ten minutes to transfer from a domestic plane to an international plane, only to find out that our tickets were nonexistent in the system! That's when all your prayers kicked in... Singapore Airlines held the plane and quickly granted us tickets all the way through to Nepal!!! We watched as multiple Asians diligently typed in numbers, made phone calls, and created an impossibility that bowed to the name of Jesus Christ! A genuine thank you to those of who were on your knees for us! We then enjoyed the next 2 days of airplane hours from San Fran to Seoul to Singapore to Kathmandu. A day of rest in the big city, and then a stinky, sweaty, dirty, bumpy bus ride to Pokhara yesterday! Then tomorrow we reach our destination in the Nepali village of Gharmi. So like I said, no small statement greeting you from his place!
Traveling logistics, however, is only a percentage of what we've experienced so far. (For those of you who like the God-inspired details...read my next blog) It's only been the first day here in Nepal and we've had so many opportunities to pray for tourists, orphans, beggars, and sadhus. God has been so faithful!

I took this picture last winter in Kathmandu, Nepal. I offered to pray for him last year but he refused. Just today I bumped into this same Sadhu again and I showed him this picture on my iPad. This simple gesture of getting out some technology and showing that I remembered him changed his heart. I offered prayer once again, and this time he was willing to receive!!! I laid my hands upon this holy man releasing the power of Jesus to lead him to truth! Our powerful partnership with God in prayer is going to change this nation! Such are the stories that make this calling worthwhile, because knowing our Lord is joyful strengthens every decision to step out. Your prayers are coveted on this side of the world...
